Fascinating Human Anatomy AR App

During my time as a doctoral student, I became very interested in Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Labs (VLs), Simulations, and Virtual Reality (VR). As a former high school science educator, I found it amazing how these applications and emerging technologies can deliver STEM content.

The other day, while posting some videos to my Instructional Design and Educational Technology YouTube Channel, I came across a video by Vocativ, which showed an fascinating new app which allows a user to examine the organs of a the human body using AR. I think this is such a neat idea, especially for educators, schools, and students who may not have access to the real thing. In my opinion it definitely beats those plastic models I had as a high school student. I am really excited to see where this technology leads, and thought it would be fantastic to share.
